About Us

As I child I was fortunate to travel to many parts of the world and to learn and appreciate cultures other than my own. That passion for learning and understanding has never left me and four years ago I left a career in Corporate Australia. I now own and run a successful travel business in Melbourne. I am also a believer in the need to find a sustainable balance for the planet. A recent trip to Nepal to do some climbing highlighted just how large some of the glacial lakes had grown and just how far some of the Himalayan Glaciers had retreated. Mans effects were clearly visible in this high and remote part of the world. I am here to share stories and experiences with people who enjoy travelling in the true sense along the paths less trodden and who have a genuine interest in the people and places they visit.

Zoomers Adventure Holidays is a specialist travel organisation for active travellers of all ages. We believe that travel is far more than just going to see the traditional sights but is more about the experience. Our tours and personal holiday packages are designed to take a slower pace and to follow the roads less trodden. We cater for both the five star luxury touring and the small group soft adventure markets. Today we also recognize that for for many people their ideal holiday cannot be found in any standard tourist brochure. Our team will work with you to tailor your dream holiday experience whether it it horse riding across America, staying in lighthouses around the world, watching Polar Bears in the Yukon or climbing one or all of the "seven summits". Everyone's travelling dream is different and our aim is to make yours come true and if we can add a little something to make it extra special when it does.

For those wanting the companionship of of a group option we run run our own fully escorted tours to some of our favourite destinations For the 2008 season we have released two exciting luxury programs. The first is to the Canadian Rockies departing on the 22 June 2008 and the other is an beautiful tour of China in October. The details of both these programs can be found by following the links below.

Following from some of our own recent trip organisation we have realised that is a critical dearth of information to aid disabled travellers. We believe that travel is something that everone should be able to enjoy and from our own experience most of our destinations, both home and overseas, can be accessed by everyone with some preplanning. In recent weeks we have formed some key alliances with international experts on accessible travel and as a consequence we have formed a new arm of the business called Adaptive Travel Services whos aim will be to bring together accessibility information on as many destinations as we can. You will find the link in our site menu as well as a link to our new purpose built web site called TravAbility.

We have an extensive photo gallery of some of our favourite places visited over the last couple of years, a page on photo tips and advice, and some new travel blogs. We would welcome the opportunity to publish either your experiences in the form of a blog or a photo gallery of your memorable trips. We also have a comprehensive online brochure library for you to download at your convience. We have provided a number of online enquiry forms for advice or online quotes or you can contact one of our three retail outlets at:
